🎃 Thanks, Uketoberfest!
Getting back into the swing of things from my travels last weekend, but I want to say another thank you to all my pals new and old from Uketoberfest. I am longing for those beautiful lakeside views and fall foliage once more 🍂🍃 [Click here to watch our full “Monster Mash” jam!]

Introducing: “The Joy of Arranging,” a new video series in Viggytopia
Ever wonder what a day in my life arranging tunes for Patreon looks like? In this video series, get to hang with me as I arrange our weekly tunes. These’ll be long form videos of my arranging process where I’ll arrange a song in real time and share candid thoughts and tips along the way. Differing from Songs on the Fly, these’ll be prerecorded VODs instead of live sessions, so feel free to watch along or have it on in the background as you work from home or something. Big Bob Ross vibes, if you couldn’t tell. 🎨🖌️🖼️
👚 Get some Jiggy merch this holiday season!
I have t-shirts, mugs, and hoodies available on my website as well! If you’ve enjoyed any of my live classes or workshops, grab a tee or a mug and show everyone that you love to get jiggy! And, if you snag some merch, I’ll add your pic to the merch listing (IF YOU WANT) like my dear friends here!!! [Check out the merch here!]
☕ Need some brews? PERC up!
They say America runs on Dunkin, but not this girl! I start my day with a fresh cup of PERC coffee, a wonderful brew straight from Savannah, GA. If you’re looking for some whacky flavor profiles (gummy bear and brownie!) or just a solid cuppa joe, PERC’s got you covered.

🥯 Some other stuff!
I’ve been big into baking lately, specifically making my own homemade bagels! I make bagels every Monday and they have been coming out fantastic. I shared this last month, but I’m still doing it LOL
I went apple picking with my friend a few weeks ago so I have a ton of apples! Like pounds and pounds of apples. I’ve made everything from Apple Pies to Apple Crumb to Apple Crisp Macchiato coffee syrup (because Starbucks discontinued it in the stupidest corporate move of all time) and even Apple Fritters! I might turn into an apple at this point, but I gotta use up these fresh apples!!!!
A good month for concerts! I saw John Carpenter live in concert this month, he does the film scores to most of his films and he performs them live with his son and his backing band. It absolutely rocked. I also saw Doechii who is my favorite hip hop artist at the moment, she’s got a wicked stage presence and is so incredibly talented. The NY crowd was crazyyyy and it was so much fun!
Vic’s movie corner: Back at it again with my movie round up! Here’s some stuff that I saw this month:
In The Mouth of Madness (1994) - WOW! Okay, lots of Carpenter films this month since we were pregaming for the live show, but this might be one of his best films. So so creative, so freaky, so many memorable sequences. I loved it! (5/5 stars)
The Thing (1982) - A similar starting sentiment, except this is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen LOL. I hadn’t seen it before and it blew me away / freaked me out so much I watched it again the next day. Absolute classic (5/5 stars)
The Others (2001) - Yooo this was so insanely good. Nicole Kidman is amazing in everything (okay maybe not Aquaman) but especially when she’s doing creepy / scary / Eyes Wide Shut type stuff. Try to go into this one as blind as you can, it’s so worth it! Supernatural horror type beat. (4.5/5 stars)
Caveat (2020) - Oh my god sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo creepy. Kind of the worst vibes but in the best way. If you like weird horror / folklore adjacent kind of stuff, this is the film for you. I’d also recommend this director’s other film Oddity (2024), Vivarium (2019) by Lorcan Finnegan, as well as The Empty Man (2020) by David Prior. (4/5 stars)
Maniac Cop (1988) - Bruce Campbell in a weird 80s slasher about a, well, about a manic cop. There’s a scene in this that was supposed to be “slo-mo” but it was really just all the actors moving really slow in real time and that made me laugh. (2.5/5 stars)
The Smashing Machine (2025) - Stars The Rock as Mark Kerr the UFC fighter. Idk I thought it was really boring, sorry Mr The Rock! Not enough smashing weirdly enough. (2/5 stars)
Scary Movie (2000) - I’ve never seen any of these movies so I know I’m very late to the game, but this was so funny and stupid LMAO (2/5 stars)
Rumplestiltskin (2025) - I don’t know why I watched this and I don’t think any one else has even watched this because I found it buried in the Peacock app. The filmmaker even spelled “Rumpelstiltskin” wrong. God awful shitty version of “The Mask.” Absolutely no sauce (1/5 stars)
Here’s three songs for you to check out: Husbands by Geese, Mary by Black Country New Road, and Second Sleep by Magdalena Bay
